I am awesome—I’d like to donate some prep books. (Just tell us where and when.)
(New!) If you are a Lynbrook student, you can drop off the books in Mr. Howden’s room (504) on the lower three shelves of the bookshelf to your left when you enter the room.
As AP testing and SAT testing are coming to an end this school year, many of us will have no more use for our copies of Barron’s or Princeton Review. Instead of letting them collect dust on the shelf, we’d like to invite you to help the library by donating your textbooks and prep books to GROW!
GROW is collecting prep books until June 8 (sample exams or released exams also welcome). These books will be sold at a later date, with all proceeds going to the Calabazas Library.
Requirements for the books:
- Must be in fairly good condition. (Some wear is fine.)
- Must have minimal writing/marks. (If marks are present, pencil is preferable. If you’re not sure whether the book is acceptable or not, please donate it anyways.)
- Must be targeted towards students in middle school or high school.
To donate books or for more information, email info+prepbooks@growlibrary.org or talk to any of the officers. Arrangements for picking up the books will be made individually.
Thank you and please keep an eye out in June for the list of books to be sold!
